A brand new product created by Dave Nicholson and Omar Martin. Before the launch most will be sending you to the squeeze page in order to drop an affiliate cookie so they get paid when the product goes live on Tuesday. However, there will be no affiliate links in this blog post as I want you to get all the info you need before clicking any link I send you.

Now, before we go any further I want to point out I have worked very close with Omar and Dave on numerous products and affiliate campaigns. In fact Omar was originally one of my students while I worked in the same car plant as Dave. I have also won tons of JV competitions by teaming up with Omar and Dave, and the last product launch I promoted with Omar generated over $100,000 in sales. So it goes without saying that when they work together to launch a product I’m going to support it and promote it heavily, and that’s exactly what I intend to do when WP Affiliate Builder launches at noon EST on the 24th of September.

However, I’m going to try to educate you as much as I can not only about the product but about the topic of recruiting affiliates and affiliate marketing. So throughout this launch I am going to keep you updated with my progress as well as give you tips and try to involve you as much as I can.

So what is WP Affiliate Builder and how can it help you?

WP Affiliate Builder gives you a complete arsenal of tools, software and training that is specifically designed to help you to recruit and equip your affiliate army! If you’ve struggled to get affiliates then that’s about to change.

You get the WordPress Affiliate Builder Software Plugin to enable you to INSTANTLY and SIMPLY build your affiliates page with all the tools needed in minutes.

Plus, you can also get a fantastic WordPress JV Leaderboard Software Plugin that automatically displays and updates your Top Affiliates.

If that isn’t enough, you ALSO get Top Quality Affiliate Video Training, Affiliate eBook Training and Affiliate Audio Training from Dave & Omar!

THIS REALLY IS POWERFUL STUFF!

So the first thing I want to know is if you decide that WP Affiliate Builder is something you need I want to know what sort of bonus would make you buy through my affiliate link? Maybe you need more affiliates, more affiliate training, some 1 on 1 time with me, a jv page review. Whatever it may be leave a comment below and let me know what you want from me and I’ll do my very best to make it happen as I intend to make this my best value bonus offering ever.

I’m going to be in touch with you a lot over the next 10 days or so and I want you to know I intend to educate you as much as possible, if you want to join me on this launch leave your comments below and let me know what you want as a bonus.

Tip! Have you been watching Omar and Dave build a buzz for this launch? It’s been amazing, Omar and Dave seem to have been all over my Facebook feed, my advice if you check them out on Facebook and just watch what they are up to. You will learn a lot by just watching this launch.

This has proven to be one of my most successful launches to date with almost 6000 frontend products sold so far.

The main reason this launch has been so successful is because of the amount of affiliates that have promoted my product. You can drive traffic yourself but the amount of traffic affiliates can drive goes far beyond what you can do on your own. So far I’ve had 251 affiliates make sales and many have sold hundreds of copies.

Here’s 18 tips for getting more affiliates to promote your stuff.

1. Put together an affiliate program. I have to start with the obvious as some marketers are trying to sell their digital products all on their own. If you are selling digital information then you simply must have an affiliate program. I tend to use ClickBank but there are many more affiliate platforms out there.

2. Create an awesome product. Again, this may seem obvious but so many marketers sell crappy products that simply don’t deliver. The result is something that gets negative reviews, tons of refunds and a ruined reputation. You want to create something that affiliates want to promote and that means putting 110% into your product.

3. Your sales copy must be amazing. When you create a sales page it’s not just to sell to potential customers, it’s to sell to potential affiliates too. You could create the best product ever but if your copy sucks you can forget getting affiliates on board. My advice is to invest in a professional writing service if this is something you feel you can’t do yourself. I’d also recommend going for a graphical sales page, since I started doing this I’ve had far better results. This is the guy I use.

4. Create a comprehensive JV Blog. Most affiliates create a single affiliates page with everything crammed onto it. This makes it very hard for affiliates to get the information they need. By creating a JV Blog with easy navigation affiliates can find the info they need. If you need a JV Blog to model try this one. In my opinion it’s the best JV Blog on the planet

5. Have a killer sales funnel. Top affiliates are looking for maximum returns, this means adding more than one product to your sales funnel. Try to include at least one recurring and one high ticket product in your funnel.

6. Payout commissions on the backend. If you have a backend operation in place that sells a high ticket product include this in your sales funnel. I guarantee you will have better results. You should also make affiliates aware of the backend commissions they can earn.

7. Give affiliates everything they need to promote your product. Some affiliates want graphics, some want blog posts, some want email copy. Some want a bonus template, some want social media tools. The secret is to cater for every affiliate by including every single promo tool you can think of. You should also mention that if anyone wants anything personally created just to get in touch.

8. Keep affiliates updated. There is nothing worse than taking part in a launch only to find the product creator doesn’t keep you updated. Affiliates want to know how they are doing and how your sales are going so make sure you keep them informed.

9. Don’t force affiliates to opt-in. If you force affiliates to opt-in to get to your affiliate page many wont opt-in at all. Give affiliates a choice to register for updates and most will, but don’t force them.

10. Don’t change the rules halfway through your launch. I’ve seen this happen numerous times, sales requirements change, prizes change, rules change. Do this and you can forget the same affiliates promoting your next launch.

11. Make yourself available. Don’t hide behind your support desk, create a personal affiliate email and use that for communicating with your affiliates.

12. Reciprocate. If someone supports you support them back. (After making sure their product is awesome)

13. Join mastermind groups. Facebook, forums, email, personal friendships. The JV world is all about relationships. Make sure you are involved in as many groups as possible.

14. Give access to your product to anyone that asks for it. If someone asks for a review copy of your product give them it, even if you’ve never heard of the person asking. You never know how much traffic they are capable of driving.

15. Be excited about your product. The way you talk about your product is important, if you can’t get your affiliates excited about your product how can you expect them to promote it?

16. Run a JV Competition. Affiliates love to win prizes and the best way to do this is to offer prizes, wether for the amount of products sold or via a leaderboard. if you can’t afford to give away any prizes at least create a leaderboard, affiliates love seeing their name on leaderboards and it will give them an added incentive to promote your product.

17. Keep providing fresh email copy. Whenever you email your affiliates include some fresh email copy. Many will simply copy what you provide and mail out.

18. Educate your affiliates. Teach them how to get more sales by providing additional training. If you know of any affiliate methods that work share them with your affiliates, They will thank you for it by promoting your product using the methods you teach them.

As you can see a successful launch goes far beyond just offering 100% commissions on the frontend.

Remember that the main thing about getting affiliates to promote your stuff is because of the relationships you build. Get that part right and you will always have affiliates ready to hit send. Don’t sell your affiliates short, help them to make as much money as possible and they will be there for you time after time.

I think I’ve covered most key areas and I hope you’ve learned something new. If you like what you have read I would appreciate it if you could ‘like’, comment or share.

A lot of marketers would say this is far too often but I would disagree with that, as long as you have your subscribers interests at heart I think it’s fine to email daily. However, this does not mean you should be promoting a different product every day.

Unfortunately, most marketers seem to think it’s ok to promote product after product on a daily basis and use a churn and burn approach when it comes to email marketing, each day promoting something different and hyping things up. The end result is your subscribers end up confused and usually end up hitting the unsubscribe button.

What I try to do is offer value but also educate my subscribers when I send out a promo. If your subscribers feel you are educating them about the product you are promoting then they are more likely to check it out and possibly make a purchase. I also think it’s better to be honest when you promote something and avoid hype. We have all seen the hyped up emails promising that this latest product getting promoted is ‘the one’ only to repeat the process tomorrow, and the next day, and the next.

I mean why would anyone think that telling their subscribers every single day the product they are promoting is the next big thing is beyond me. Keep that sort of promo for when something really big does come along and you’ll get much better results and respect from your subscribers.

Now we have that out of the way let me tell you about the ‘Triple Threat’ method that I have perfected. I find it works really well and usually results in me getting at least triple the sales that I would receive from 3 average promotions.

By the way, I just came up with the name ‘Triple Threat’, I hope you like it

This method involves sending 3 promotional emails in a 36 – 48 hour period. It is crucial with any email promotion that you follow up, this is something a lot of marketers fail to do. I tend to find that I receive more sales from my second email than my first. I then send a third and final email to complete the promotion and this usually results in even more sales again.

You will also have much better results using this method if you can secure a 48 hour discount or run your promotion at the end of a launch. Let’s say someone has a 7 day launch going on, if you used this method in the final 48 hours you would smash it.

This is how I tend to do it, I am using a recent promo for PLR Monthly as an example. This was a 7 day promo and I only got on board in the final 48 hours, the result was I generated over $2000 in recurring monthly commissions.

Email 1. The initial email introduces the product and educates the reader about the product I am promoting. Here’s the first email.

Subject: Amazing PLR Deal (Sorry I’m Late)

Email 2. Around 12 – 18 hours later I send out a second email, this is a reminder email that basically reinforces the message I sent in my first email. I also try to bring some urgency into my email. Here’s the second email I sent in this particular promo.

Subject: Get in Before it’s Gone

Hi {!firstname_fix},

You have until tomorrow to get in on this amazing offer from Dave
Nicholson and Daniel Sumner.

http://www.plrmonthly.com/mega_bonus

If you missed my email yesterday there is an amazing PLR
lifetime opportunity up for grabs with an $800 bonus.

This really is a top offer. I have been a member of PLR monthly
since it began in 2008 and it’s grown in leaps and bounds ever
since.

Take a look {!firstname_fix} you wont be disappointed in the
quality these guys provide.

http://www.plrmonthly.com/mega_bonus

Until next time,

John Thornhill

Email 3. I really build up on the urgency in my third and final email, I may have some sort of ‘final notice’ in my email, I also usually say this is the last time I will be talking about the product I am promoting. If done right this final email will bring in the most results.

Subject: You Have Till Midnight

Hi {!firstname_fix},

I just want to let you know that you have until midnight TONIGHT
to grab the latest exclusive offer from the guys at PLR Monthly.

Go check it out.

http://www.plrmonthly.com/mega_bonus

You need to be fast on this one as it’s ending at MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

http://www.plrmonthly.com/mega_bonus

Until next time,

John Thornhill

Obviously, the type of emails you send depends on the product you are promoting but for the best results try to educate your subscribers, try to get good deals, try to offer bonuses and above all have your subscribers interests at heart.

This promotion was so successful that we have now added a script to the page to only show the offer for 48 hours and I am now promoting it via autoresponder sequence on autopilot.

If you do try this ‘Triple Threat’ method please let me know how you get on as I’d love to know how it works for you and as always, your comments are welcome.

WSO Domination – The Program That Can Teach Anyone to Create a WSO That Sells

Don’t List Another WSO Without This

You got it, they are both for the same product.

However, while the product is the same I am using two different affiliate programs, one uses ClickBank and the other is using Warrior Plus.

By doing this I am effectively putting my product in front of two sets of affiliates via their marketplaces.

I actually never planned to do this but I wanted to test how Warrior Plus works out and so far I’m happy with the results. However, it struck me that by doing what I did, I am now getting my offer in front of more affiliates and getting affiliates on board is the key to a successful product.

I could even go one further and use other affiliate programs such as JV Zoo, if I did this I would be taking advantage of their marketplace as well.

This isn’t hard to set up as you will already have a sales page, thank you page and affiliate page. Just remember if you do this you’ll need to keep everything separate by having completely different thank you pages, autoresponder messages and sales pages as you obviously want to make sure affiliates get rewarded for their efforts. So if an affiliate generates a sale via Warrior Plus I want to make sure that I only promote the Warrior Plus version of the upsell.

Here are my two different upsell pages. Note the different payment processors.

ClickBank

Warrior Plus

So if you already have a product for sale online consider using an additional affiliate program and you will attract more affiliates, how do I know this? Because I’m doing it

I’ll be in touch with all of you soon
about your Charity Cash Prizes so choose

We won by over 200 sales, and this was a JV competition we would have been happy to get a top 5 slot in.

All I can say to this is although I sent quite a few emails to my subscribers about this launch I feel good because everything was done ethically. (BTW, I’m not saying any of the above marketers are unethical)

We didn’t use hype.

We educated our subscribers.

We offered insane bonuses that will help hundreds of people.

We were there to answer any questions.

We will continue to provide ongoing support.

And above all, the product we promoted was solid and not some push button 3 click automated rubbish people are sick of seeing.

Can you see a pattern here?

After some of the rubbish that was pushed in 2010 people are getting sick of crap offers and hypey marketing. The fact we did so well in this JV competition by being honest and open proves that, and not only did we make a ton of money ourselves but we also get to donate $2500 to charity for winning the JV competition. We will be donating this to a local Cat and Dog shelter. Boy are they in for a shock when they receive $2500

So if you can take anything away from this blog post it is this:

Market in an honest and ethical way and you will stand more chance of success, you should also be able to sleep better at night knowing you are not taking part in marketing that damages peoples lives.

I have just taken part in a huge promotional campaign and I’ve never felt so good. In fact we received a ton of emails from our subscribers wishing us well and hoping we’d win the JV competition and that meant a lot. I love my job

Oh, and just in case you are not aware, winning this JV competition wasn’t a complete fluke, it’s been done time and time again and if you aren’t aware of Affiliate Promo Formula now is the time to check it out. The Affiliate Promo Formula was used in this recent promo and as you can see it still works very well. I will also be providing a full case study of this launch to all APF Alliance members.

Since I launched Affiliate Promo Formula just a few hours ago things have been crazy, I have been manning my emails since launch and I have received quite a few questions which I thought I would share with you.

Q: What is Affiliate Promo Formula?

A: Affiliate Promo Formula is a complete training program that will show you how to become a super affiliate online. The methods I reveal are tried and tested and I have been using them myself since 2006.

Q: How is the course delivered?

A: The course is delivered over 15 modules, 3 bonus modules, a pdf mindmap, pdf worksheet and eBook. All modules are multi format so they can be played on a computer, iPhone, iPod, iPad and even read on a kindle.

Q: Do I need a list to make this work?

A: No, if you haven’t yet started to build a list I have that covered so you do not need a list to get started.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: This may shock you, the cost is only $37 and as it’s sold via ClickBank you also have a no quibble 60 day refund period meaning there is no risk to you.

Q: I’ve seen a lot of questionable ClickBank launches lately, what makes this product any different from the sort of stuff I’ve seen launched recently?

A: This is a tried, tested and perfect method I have developed myself and have been using since 2006, I do not promise automated or push button riches. (Hint!, there’s no such thing) I provide methods that have worked for me for the last 4 years and still work just as well today.

Q: Are there any upsells?

A: Yes, there’s one upsell and it is complimentary to Affiliate Promo Formula, it is in no way needed to make Affiliate Promo Formula work.

Q: What about support?

A: I take great pride in my support and I will provide all the support you need and all questions I receive are always answered within 24 hours including weekends. Usually much sooner.

Q: I have another question.

A; No problem, leave a comment and I’ll get back to you on this blog.

Affiliate Promo Formula is the result of over 4 years of promoting products as an affiliate marketer. I have generated over 1 million dollars in affiliate sales and everything I know has gone into this.

I feel it’s my best product to date and it will help you earn more as an affiliate.

http://www.affiliatepromoformula.com/

Here’s to your affiliate success.

It’s getting worse, another major rubbish product launch has happened again recently, I wont name names but those in the know will be aware about the latest ‘push button’ product that doesn’t deliver on what the sales page promises that has been peddled by unscrupulous marketers.

The product creator doesn’t care that the refund rate will probably be over 50% and that there is little or no customer service being offered and that the product is just more rehashed crap that we have seen getting launched time and time again over the last few months.

All he cares about is making sales, so the sales page looks fantastic and converts extremely well to attract as many affiliates as possible.

And this is the problem…

You see, as an affiliate a product like this can look like a very attractive product to promote and it’s easy to see why affiliates jump on board, plus there’s the ‘I’ll scratch your back and you scratch mine’ mentality that means affiliates feel obliged to return any favours owed, something I suffered from and covered in this blog post.

So the affiliates promote and make some money (half of which gets refunded) and they carry on until the next ‘offer’ comes along and repeat the process.

Next time they make less sales…

Then less sales..

Then none at all…

You probably don’t need me to tell you why sales have dried up do you? It’s because their subscribers are sick of getting peddled crap launch after crap launch.

I think sometimes marketers forget that when they send an email they are getting opened by real people with real problems and they are looking to marketers like us for a solution, so when they are peddled rubbish products promising the earth but delivering nothing they quickly unsubscribe.

This is an easy trap for any would be affiliate marketer to fall into, but avoiding this trap is easy. Just remember these 3 golden rules before you promote any product.

Have you reviewed it?

Will it help your subscribers?

Does the product creator have a solid reputation online?

If you answer no to any of the above then you really shouldn’t be promoting the product. In fact if you have any doubts about promoting something before hitting the send button it’s probably best you don’t.

Remember, your subscribers are real people with feelings and emotions and most are looking to you for a solution to their problems. Provide the solutions and you will be walking to the bank to cash your affiliate checks with your head held high. However, promote crap and your affiliate days will be numbered.

You have been warned…

In today’s blog post I am going to reveal a few things most Internet Marketers will never discuss, I’m going to show you some real time stats from a promo I ran on complete autopilot while I was on vacation, including clicks and sales. I am also going to reveal something that I know may make you feel you were ‘tricked’ in some sort of way, especially if you were one of the people who responded to last weeks emails telling me to stop marketing while I was on vacation. However, you have to understand I am revealing this information to educate you.

The problem was Dave Nicholson and Daniel Sumner were re-launching PLR Monthly and had a fantastic offer running while I was away and I knew I had to promote this offer for 2 reasons.

The offer was unbelievable value

I knew I’d make a ton of money promoting it (just being honest)

So I knew I had to promote. However, if I had taken my laptop on vacation with me my good lady Tania would not have been very pleased, after all this was our annual vacation to Benidorm in Spain and there is no way she would let me near a computer as she wanted to have me to herself for a week without the usual distractions my online business presents. In fact I was only just allowed to check my stats from time to time on on my iPhone and that was after some heated discussions

You see, the truth is I didn’t touch a computer while I was away, all the messages were pre-loaded into Aweber and there were 4 messages queued in total. This meant I didn’t have to touch a thing while I was away, so if you thought I was actually writing the emails while I was away I wasn’t, I wrote them all before I left. I’m sorry if this may seem like I cheated as I was discussing a vacation I hadn’t even started but I had this blog post planned and wanted to show you that we can plan our promos and make money on complete autopilot. Plus I did get sunburned, had a few hangovers and spent most of my time by the pool

And here are the results of this promo. The only dates that really matter are from the 6th to the 14th while I was away.

That’s almost 90 sales and over $2600 in affiliate commissions and most of that is recurring. Not bad considering I was soaking up the sun most of the time.

So never forget that even though things happen in our lives that can prevent us being near a PC we can still market and make money while we are offline.

Aweber can be pre-loaded and you can even schedule blog posts with wordpress as well as set up autoresponder campaigns that can go out at pre-determined times as soon as someone signs up for one of your lists. In fact if you sign up for the free course advertised in the top right corner of this blog you will be put into an autoresponder sequence that promotes my Mentorship Monthly program. Try it, sign up and take a look at how I market the program and remember, it’s all done on autopilot.

I am going to follow up on this post in a few days and go into a lot more detail about this promo but for now I just wanted to let you see how I effectively ran a campaign while I was on vacation. As always your comments are welcome.

SIDENOTE! If you are quick you may still be able to get locked in at the special PLR Monthly price as I managed to get it extended for a further 24 hours for you. Here’s the link you need.
