Today I spent all day adding promotions to my autoresponder sequences. I have added 6 products in total to around 15 different lists. This takes care of my autoresponder promotions for the next 20-50 days.
But what you need to remember is once again my work is done. Everyone on the various lists I have will eventually receive these promotions. This is another excellent feature of Aweber. You set your emails to go out at pre-determined intervals and Aweber takes care of the rest. In around a month’s time I will simply add more emails to the sequence so I can stay ahead.
I also added two products from Lee McIntyre to the sequence. If you remember last week I mentioned I would be doing this. Lee has done the same for me with 2 of my products and we will both make money for years from this for very little work indeed.
I also want to point out that you should now be noticing how important Aweber is to my online business. It is probably the most important business investment of my life. That is a pretty serious comment but if you are not building a mailing list you need to take a long look at what you want to achieve online. Building a mailing list is the single most important thing you need to be doing to build your business and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise.
I have also added one of Lee’s products to the discount section of the Blog. Once again this should see me earn a decent affiliate income.
I’m afraid that’s it for this week. I’m going away till Monday so I will see you then. Remember that while I’m away my business will still be making money. It doesn’t get much better than that…

October 18, 2007Are you planning to post a comparative “before and after” of your income from the month before all this activity with the results after this month-in-the-business-life blog? I think it would be interesting to see from a real, live, genuine IM success what Internet product sales income streams look like.

October 18, 2007Yep, I have to agree this really does work. I have been lucky enough to have John add two of my eBooks to his AR and I make money from them every day, as does John.
For those that have been ummm-ing and ahhh-ing about starting a list, my advice is the same as John’s – Get your list started TODAY. The money really is in the list.
Don’t be discouraged if your list builds slowly – I hear so many people say “oh, I’ve ONLY got 30 people on my list – I wish I had a list of thousands” – 30 people is better than zero people.
Nurture them, look after them and give them good quality content, advice and information. Keep them informed. If they trust you and know that you’re not trying to give them a hard sell or bleed them dry they will be receptive to your advice and recommendations.
Treat your list with kids gloves, they are your lifeline.
Have a great weekend, John

October 19, 2007River – Showing my income would not make a difference to anyone reading. As anyone can see my business has grown since the start of the month. I could provide screenshots of income but I really don’t think it is necessary.
However, I will be providing a detailed report in the last post of the month.
Paula – Your products are always quality and you put a lot of work into them so I have never had a problem promoting anything you create. Here’s to many more sales for both of us.

October 19, 2007I too know that John’s Autoresponder makes him money.
Like Paula, I’ve got one of my products in John’s system….and in the last few months John has sold over 300 copies…. Making him a very reasonable return for the sake of adding one email to a sequence!
This also results in my list growing with more people who are serious enough to learn, that they’ve invested in a product and are likely to again.
Which then hits on what Paula said about ensuring you look after your list and only recommend quality info that will be of use to them. And Not try and go after big money just for the sake of it.
Reading between the lines I’m sure John may lose a few peoples interest – as it becomes obvious that running a real business – isn’t a quick and easy buck – but a long term strategy for a sustained and growing business.
All good stuff though if you want a real business and are prepared to put in what it takes at the front end!
