I have a very short blog post for you today, however, just because it’s short don’t underestimate the content I’m sharing.
Can you spot the difference between these two Warrior Special Offers?
WSO Domination – The Program That Can Teach Anyone to Create a WSO That Sells
Don’t List Another WSO Without This
You got it, they are both for the same product.
However, while the product is the same I am using two different affiliate programs, one uses ClickBank and the other is using Warrior Plus.
By doing this I am effectively putting my product in front of two sets of affiliates via their marketplaces.
I actually never planned to do this but I wanted to test how Warrior Plus works out and so far I’m happy with the results. However, it struck me that by doing what I did, I am now getting my offer in front of more affiliates and getting affiliates on board is the key to a successful product.
I could even go one further and use other affiliate programs such as JV Zoo, if I did this I would be taking advantage of their marketplace as well.
This isn’t hard to set up as you will already have a sales page, thank you page and affiliate page. Just remember if you do this you’ll need to keep everything separate by having completely different thank you pages, autoresponder messages and sales pages as you obviously want to make sure affiliates get rewarded for their efforts. So if an affiliate generates a sale via Warrior Plus I want to make sure that I only promote the Warrior Plus version of the upsell.
Here are my two different upsell pages. Note the different payment processors.
So if you already have a product for sale online consider using an additional affiliate program and you will attract more affiliates, how do I know this? Because I’m doing it

February 12, 2012Hey JT,
After you mentioned this on Friday night, I thought it was a genius idea.
Excellent!

February 12, 2012Hi John, great advice.
I had been wondering whether to do something like this, especially when sales start slowing down on one platform.
All the best,
David

February 12, 2012Hi John : Thanks for sharing with us these different affiliate programs. My question is how do i start an affiliate list ?
I have sold through JVZoo but not my product. I can’t seem to get the email/contact details of the person I sold to.
What are your tips on how to start an affiliate list. I have a product called Fusionology but not sure how to sell on JVZoo or any affiliate program. You can check out the product by going to my website /fusionology.
Looking forward to hear from you soon. Thanks.

February 12, 2012Hi Desmond,
The best way to start an affiliate list is to have an opt-in form on your affiliates page offering more affiliate materials, updates and affiliate training.

February 12, 2012It is a great idea to gain new affiliates
Now I need to remember to go into my link cloaker and change the links…lol
I will have had 3 different links promoting this product now – good job I can edit links…lol
Do you mention changing the links in your email to affiliates John?, as that would be useful to tell them if they stand a chance of making more commissions too – which might also get existing affiliates promoting again as well as picking up all the new ones?

February 12, 2012I’ve emailed my affiliates to let them know they can promote the WSO via Warrior Plus. It’s really up to them to choose what program they want to promote. Although I am offering 100% commissions via Warrior Plus: http://www.wsodomination.com/affiliates/wso_pro/

February 14, 2012Hi John / Randy,
Yeah that’s the beauty of a good link cloaker isn’t it; the ability to change the destination URL. I actually set up the original one sold through Clickbank and then added this latest one being sold through Warrior Plus and at 100% commission, that’s the one I’m promoting. Thanks guys.

February 12, 2012Hi John,
As you know I did do a WSO a few weeks ago, but didn’t set it up with any affiliate’s in mind as I wanted to test the waters first.
I’m hearing affiliates are lining up at the moment to promote great offers and for sure having some kind of an opt-in on the affiliate’s page will have its benefits of getting them onto a list.
The only thing is (and I know you’ve covered this John) there’s a lot of peoples accounts on the PayPal getting closed down running WSO’s through PayPal. I listened to a phone call from a warrior representative only yesterday…to Anthony Aires (once a member) who they have now banned for life…saying they didn’t agree with the way Internet Marketers were using PayPal to collect money.
What are your thoughts on this John?
I’ll leave you the link if you want to listen yourself – if you haven’t already.
Eamon.

February 12, 2012I’ve listened to the call Eamon and it is worrying. I’m not a massive fan of Warrior Plus but I simply wanted to test it. This is partly the reason why I have offered 100% commissions, so not many sales go through my account.
It’s always a worry using PayPal and Warrior Plus really should look at alternative payment options, hopefully one day they will.
Eamon
February 12, 2012Ahh…you’ve always the thinking cap on John; yeah I hope someday they do think of using an alternative other than PayPal.
Regard,
Eamon.

February 12, 2012It seems to me that creating a large group of loyal affiliates really is the secret to success online.
It makes sense to utilize all possible resources.

February 12, 2012Well thanks for that awesome tip John …. I’m just putting the finishing touches to ‘Auction Profit Avalanche’ according to your advice …
Spend half the day trying to get Flowplayer to work but cracked it in the end!!
OK .. hopefully this will be live as a WSO very soon and I can take your advice about affiliates
Thanks again
enjoy the rest of your day !!
all the best

February 12, 2012Hey John – I just hate looking like a dummy! But I looked at both pages and they look identical to me including ClickBank as the processor. I’m try like heck to learn.
Thanks for all your efforts to teach guys like me.
John Thornhill
February 12, 2012If you hover over or click the buy buttons you will see one goes to a ClickBank order page and one goes to PayPal.

February 12, 2012Real smart! That’s why you’re one of the best.
Thanks again

February 12, 2012That is so simple and makes absolute sense, yet I have never ever heard anyone mention that before!, so I wonder if a lot of marketers have been doing this and keeping it quiet…of if this simple little idea is one of those gems which just went unnoticed!
Nice one John for bringing this to our attention.

February 12, 2012Hey John,
I think this is a very smart choice mate, same exact offer for different marketplaces, BRILLIANT!
I can see this working amazingly well, so why not release this in other places such as PayDotCom, E-Junkie, RAPBank, etc?
I know it’d be a lot more hassle to administer and maintain but just imagine how much more scalable would that be.
Just an idea actually, maybe you already tried it?

February 12, 2012This is a cool test. Trying to think about the negatives as well as the positives. Curious to see if you have more ppl buying through their own Clickbank affiliate link. The only other thing I was thinking was if two threads diluted the ‘live testimonial effect’ the WSO has but I guess you can take the testimonials from one thread and paste it into the other (and vice versa).

February 12, 2012Hi John
What is your recommendation as far as affiliate percentages doing this. Is it best to keep everyone getting the same % money to affiliate? Or is it best to adjust the commissions based on the payment program?
Thanks
Mary
John Thornhill
February 13, 2012That’s really up to you, I must admit I would just normally go 50% for everything but with the WSO Pro affiliate program I am going 100% to test the response.

February 13, 2012Hi John ,

February 13, 2012John
Can you set two different prices on the product by doing this too? A higher price on clickbank maybe?
Dave

February 13, 2012Sure, you could do this if you wanted to.

February 13, 2012Hi John:
Good one! Another one that I’m using currently is paydotcom.com

February 13, 2012Hi John,
Great information as always. What do you think about using JV Zoo? Have you ever used the site in the past to sell any of your products?
I am seriously thinking of using JV Zoo for my product launch at the end of this month.
Best regards

March 13, 2012I just read this email from you. You can set this up with one sales page, one newsletter series and one download page by checking for the origination path when the server builds the sales letter.
I did this years ago with paydotcom and clickbank.
Any PHP coder worth the name could set you up for under $100. If you do that make sure anyone who comes from either source is always shown the right links.
Phil
November 26, 2012I’m planning my first product launch as a WSO in the next time. I’m not the technical guy, but if I got this right: I can only use one affiliate processor at a time, can’t I?
Which one do you recommend for me as a newbie?
